Very often, life transitions, relationships, family, career or social pressures can lead to feelings of sadness, frustration and anxiety. These feelings often cause people to lose sight of their goals, who they once were and who they wish to become. When negative feelings take over, even regular daily events and interactions can seem overwhelming. Therapy helps people learn about and overcome negative thoughts and feelings so that they can experience a joyful life again.
As a therapist, it is my goal to help clients feel happier and lead a fulfilling life full of enriching relationships and positive experiences. Therapy should be tailored to your needs and designed to work especially for you. For several years, I have been helping individuals, couples and families identify and achieve the changes they wish to experience in their lives using different treatment modalities including: talk therapy, couples/ family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic strategies and solution focused (short-term) therapy.
